When anyone travels with us, they are welcomed by the communities we visit as family. This is an honor and not one we take lightly. So what does it mean to be culturaly aware and thoughtful with how we connect?

This isn’t about “doing it right” because we will all surely mis-understand a someone or have an awkward interaction when we travel. What is more important is how we deal with it, how we ask questions and what our intention is.

We are back to our bi-weekly Happy Hour schedule! On the 4th, we will be doing a final Q and A for people who are interested in this year's Dia de Los Muertos trip.

Tonight’s Happy Hour

Did you know we are taking a group to Mexico City and Oaxaca for Dia de Los Muertos?

We hope so because this is a trip you don’t want to miss.

For tonight’s Happy Hour chat we will be updating everyone on travel details and asking for help with spreading the word. Admittedly, we know these experiences can be life-changing but are still learning how to share them with the people who will value these kinds of experiences.

Here are some questions we will ask:

Who do you think would benefit or enjoy these trips?

What are some of the memorable moments you had that you can’t stop talking about?

What would you tell someone who is thinking about travel but isn’t 100% sure yet?

Have you thought about that next trip you are going to take? Where you want to go, and what it might feel like to travel again?

Us too! We are excited for the possibility of travel being on the horizon, but understand there is still so much uncertainty. As we prepare for our next trips, what are some of the questions we need to ask before we book and plan? Tonight we will dive into making plans for our next trips, and consideration we need to keep in mind.

Some questions we will cover tonight are:

When will we know it is okay to travel again?

Does the kind of travel we do make a difference?

We have all be waiting for the day that it is safe to travel again. For some people travel in some form or another never really stopped. Let’s talk about it!

Some things to keep in mind as the vaccine becomes available around the world, is that it isn’t available to everyone at the same time. Who has access, and who will be affected by travel opening up should be a major consideration.
